Mamahood is a crazy journey full of amazing highs and lows. One thing is for sure, once you are a mama your life looks and feels different in ways that you'D maybe never imagined.

MamaClub started because we wanted to create a space for Mamas to be themselves, to connect with other like-minded women and to have some fun (while maybe learning something new along the way!).

We are passionate about learning and we believe that it is possible to be a Mama Extraordinaire while continuing to develop ourselves as people....we don't agree that just because we have children, our own development has to stop.
Sure, life is busier now than it ever has been. MamaClub is here to provide a space where you can have some MamaTime, meet new people, and invest in your own personal development.  All the while having a lot of fun.

So come and meet us!  Check out our latest Events Calendar to see what we have planned for next month...and get involved!

HELLO! I'm Claire Whitehouse, founder of MamaClub.

I am wife to James, Mama to Woody (2 years), Baby Number 2 (on the way) and Betsy the sausage dog.

My life's work has been in the field of learning and personal development.  I have spent over 15 years working with people across different industries all over the world who all want to better themselves in one way or another.

Like many women, I worked at full capacity (loving it) right up until the birth of my baby and then half enjoyed and half survived that first year.  Someone wise once said:

'Becoming a mother is like discovering the existence of a strange new room in the house where you live'

.... that's exactly how I felt in that first year.  Everything was new and different.  I loved lots of it (babies are amazing, let's be honest) but equally struggled with some of it (no sleep obvs, people pretending they knew best, other mamas to scared to say 'this is really hard' which left me thinking....is it just me?!).

It's only recently that I have started to appreciate the huge journey I have been on..and am still on.

Motherhood has challenged me with every day in every way.

I wanted to create a nonjudgemental space for mums to work through this change in a real and honest way .... without pretending we are perfect.

I believe that if we are confident and capable as women, we will naturally be the best mama our babies could hope for. It starts with us.

So that's how MamaClub was born...a space for mamas to connect and grow.
